515: Chuck Treece Fiber-Riding Haverton PA Back in the day

February 28, 2010

This is too cool, Chuck posted this on FB. Old fiber rider ramp. Unique stuff. I had the pleasure of really injuring myself on one of these gems, notably the Blue ramp.

What year do you think this is?

It’s crazy how slippery these ramps were. Check out in the video some of the guys starting to slip out in the flat. Chuck makes this ramp look easy and Moose made the Blue Ramp look too easy.

    So sick, Chuck!

Jason, has anyone ever submitted anything from the fiber-rider bowl that ended up in a backyard and put together with a section missing? I remember skating it once or twice, but I always forget where it was because I was too young to drive and of course I never paid attention to where the older guys were taking me. Ring a bell with you?
