Seriously how gnarley was edgewood. Here is a great addition to the Edgewood Category from the Maestro Geoff T Graham. I think it is safe to say that we currently have the largest collection of Edgewood photographs…I cannot believe that not one person has come forward with a snap of this place in its hey day.

I have some good old and new things that I will send. I skate
with Geoff all the time still and he still shoots lots of pics. The
first shot is me at the Hell Ramp around 1987 I would guess, and the
second is at our local spot that is called Chaumpa Ramp. It has a 9ft
tranny section and a 10ft tranny with a hip and a pocket. Its fun and
its private but we still have 15 to 20 person sessions.

So this looks to be around 91-92 The Raging Lamos played at the indoor park in Brick Township… Ill let dennis tell it..

I think that that was at the Brick NJ indoor skate park (Impact Zone) contest/Raging Lamos jam (c. ’91-’92). You know the one. Jim sent in a group shot. (However, I may be totally wrong). I am sporting an old skull bucket that one of the Charno Brothers gave me, which I still wear. That might be Tag’s hand hold the seat. If I was to guess, Rocky with his hand up in the back. He often did that. I do not remember Ian by name, but that could be him. Anytime someone asks me to hold a hair for then to do an invert on, I always seem to say “Sure!”

Well by July 20th 2007 The House of Steam will be One Year Old!!
The archive currently has over 170 entries spread across 400 searchable categories.
In order to celebrate our accomplishment I have assembled a Year One Celebration video.
I would like to thank Sophie for all her help and support with the archive.
I would like to thank all the people I have been in contact with (especially via email) who have contributed photos, stories and most importanty time.
To me The House of Steam is an open ended community driven archive. What it does and where it goes is up to you so keep contributing. It is only a matter of time before The House of Steam becomes an important peice of skate history. It is not if it is when. I recall something sprayed on the outside wall of The Barn after it was all closed up, it said…The Time is Now.
