Look what Geoff sent us… Brilliant! It was a day in 1992 that will live on in infamy….. Tom “The Rock” Boyle vs. Tony Hawk II, the largest post Barn Gathering of Team Steam since (hopefully we can change that in 2010) and a live Raging Lamos show night cap. Click the classic photo (taken by Geoff on the day) below for more story:
Now back to the show:
He goes by many names: Stevie “D”, Starvin Eddie, rifller of fass riff’s Steve Mannion: Guitar and Vocals
Photo Geoff Graham
Part one of the “Powerful” rhythm section Steve “Dr. K” Kometoni: Bass and back ground Vocals

Who believes The Raging Lamos should compile all of their music (live and studio) onto one CD along with a comic of all the Lamos art work and offer it for sale! Just thinking out loud here…if you agree leave an arm twisting style comment (Jay Henry knows how to write those type follow his lead)
Thank Geoff these are really knock the skin off the ball.
Jason
PS here is a live Lamos track from CBGB’s for you to ENJOY

485: My favorite artist at my favorite place: Steve Mannion appearing at Forbidden Planet NYC JAN 30….You Gotta Go!
January 27, 2010
Seriously, Alexander Calder and the likes aside Steve Mannion is one of my favorite artists. I was really excited when he agreed to create an Illustration for THOS (which I have stickers and a cafe press t-shirt of) it maybe time to commission something new for our 5th anniversary. If you have the means no house is complete without a Steve Mannion original oil painting as well. If you are anywhere near NYC on the 30th of Jan stop in and say hello and support the team. Send some pics too.
Steve is currently penning and drawing Fearlessdawn the website is all updated too.

and also congrats for gettin in that Diamond catalog anyone in the industry knows how necessary that is…here is what they wrote about our Hometown Hero!
“Back in February’s PREVIEWS there was a book from Asylum Press called Fearless Dawn that went largely unnoticed by fans and retailers. The entire industry went on rolling without giving it a second glance, and like many small press books it nearly slipped into obscurity without reaching the core readers in our hobby. But when a copy of it made its way across my desk, I knew from first glance it was something special that people needed to see. Steve Mannion has created a character that has the moxie of The Goon, the audacity of Mr. Monster, and the looks of Angelina Jolie. The sequential art in the book is an incredible mix of Dave Stevens’ old-fashioned good-girl flare combined with the insane sensibilities of Eric Powell’s monster-smashing cigar-toting baddies. Fearless Dawn is a maniacally fun romp of Nazi bashing, creature killin’, and leather-wearing cat-fighting femme fatales. If you are looking for a fun read with beautiful artwork and a heaping helping of crazy antics, then you need to pick up the Fearless DawnSpecial Edition and The Bomb Trade Paperback from the inmates at Asylum Press. Miss out on this book a second time and the boys in the white coats might come lock you up and throw away the key!
